Our Lighting control apps
For every lighting system we offer, there is an app to control it. Based on the type of lighting you have will determine which of the 3 different apps you need to control your lighting system(s).
If you have our Permanent Holiday Lighting, Cage Beam Lighting, Soffit Down Lighting, and/or our SMART String lights, then the Trimlight App (version 1 & version 2) is the app you will control these systems with.
If you have our Sconce Lights, Up/Down Lights, or our color-controlled Landscape Lights, then the MI Lights App is the app you use to control these systems.
Lastly, if you have our more basic white color String Lights or our RGB color String Lights, then you will use the XMCosy App.

Trimlight Select App (version 1)
If you have an older installation of our permanent holiday lighting system or pool cage beam system (prior to Jan 1, 2022), you will want to refer to the Trimlight Select app information below. If you are unsure which system you have, go to to your app. If it has a white background, it is the older version. Your controller will be white in color. See the information below for help with you Trimlight select system.
FYI, if you have the Version 1 controller, you can continue to use it for many years to come, but if you decide that you like the features of the new Trimlight EDGE controller (see below), then you can reach out to us and inquire about an upgrade.
Trimlight EDGE App (Version 2)
If you have an newer system, you will want to refer to the Trimlight EDGE app below. If you are unsure which system you have, go to you app. If it has a black background, then you have the newest controller available.
Our newest app has a solid Wi-Fi connection, is cloud-based, will go to the beat of the music. It can also be connected to Alexa or Google Home, has new pre-built effects, a 5-scene loop-play feature, zone programming, the ability to save up to 60 scenes, and other great enhancements that really make this so much fun.
